What's the difference between palm kernel and palm oils? Palm kernel is
white and has a high melt point. Palm oil is yellow and has a low melt point,
about room temperature. The higher the melt point, the harder the oil, and the
harder your soap comes out and the slower it will melt in the shower. For a
truly professional bar, use palm kernel in place of Crisco.
We do not carry palm oil because we do not get enough orders for it. The one
gallon buckets are always sent in cartons to avoid the $5.00 UPS bucket fee.

Just melt in top of a
double boiler or use microwave, add dye and scent, and pour into prepared soap
molds. We carry molds, colorants, fragrance oils, essential oils and other
additives. Look through the catalog for these products. Specify transparent
(clear) or Opaque (white) when ordering. Ask for instructions when ordering
your soap base.
