soap that you can add other ingredients to such as butters, vegetable oils
plus lots of ideas further down on this page. |

Our opaque (white) soap base
has titanium dioxide added to it to make it white. Use the same as

Here are some ideas for adding texture
to your soaps |
 |
In the picture to the left we
have added our ground blue loofah. The star is made from our opaque
soap base and has a little of our ultramarine blue colorant added to it in
addition to the blue loofah. The fish is our transparent soap base
with blue loofah. |
 |
 |
| The oval soap has green loofah
added to it as well as a very small amount of our avocado green colorant
and was made with our opaque (white) base. The green star was made
with our transparent base, green loofah and avocado green colorant. |
The purple heart above was made
using our transparent soap base, violet loofah and our ultramarine violet
colorant. Use less colorant for a better showing of the loofah.
The oval soap above was made using our opaque soap, violet loofah and a
very small amount of our ultramarine violet colorant. |
| When adding
"floating items" such as ground loofah, jojoba beads, and other
exfoliants, do the following: stir your soap and let it stand.
If the items go to the top or bottom, wait a minute, try again. Just
as soon as your "floating items" stay suspended after you have stirred the
soap, pour into your molds fast. There is about a five second turn
around between being able to pour and the soap getting too thick to pour.
If it gets too thick, nuke a few seconds, stir, and, again, when they
float, pour. You'll see what I mean once you have tried it.
It's worth it!! |

Here are some of the colors we
carry in our jojoba beads. They add quite a scrub to your soaps.
You can can more information on our Jojoba Beads
page. You would follow the instructions for adding
the loofah. |
|
| We also have
exfoliants such as apricot, jojoba and sweet almond meals. Our
pumices add just the right amount of scrub to your garden soaps. See
these here. |
